The colonistaion of Ulster was the organised colonisation of a province in the north of Ireland during the reign of King James I. The colonists where protestants from scotland and England and had a different culture to the natives. This lead to most of the land colonised where forfeited by the Gaelic chiefes.Added to timeline:
