Taking a big leap of inovations brings the invention of the Cassette Tape. In 1962, the Philips Company, invented the first cassette tape. On August 30 1963 the first tape was released in Europe at the Berlin Radio Show. This product was used for mainly listening to music. You could listen with a portable radio, car radio, and not much later a walk man. The walk man was also some of the first devices that you could "overwrite" audio.Added to timeline:
