Battle in which roughly 200 Texian soldiers fended off 2 waves of the Mexican Army and causing about 600 casualties to the Mexicans before being defeated by the army of 1800 soldiers. The battle that sparked the uprising of the Texian army to defeat the Mexicans in the Mexican-American War.
