Description:
Siam had suffered many territorial losses losing the Shan states and Upper Malai to the British as well as Cambodia and Laos to the French. After having considering all possibilities available - King Vajiravudh also known as Rama VI decided that it was the best for Siamese interest to join the Central Powers side in early 1919 by invading French Indochina, getting considerable gains along the front.
