21 h, jul 22, 2003 y - Lee, Carley and Glenn try to save a suicidal woman at the Motor Inn. (A New Day)

Description:

- Day 3
- Lee goes into the backroom and Clementine follows him in. Lee looks at his father's cane and tells Clem that he used to whoop shoplifters with it. They move a desk away from the pharmacy door. They get to know each other and ask a few questions. Clem asks why Lee doesn't talk to his parents. Lee can tell her that he got into some trouble, or a bad fight and they stopped talking after that.
- Clem gets a splinter from the desk so Lee dresses it with a bandage. Clem is concerned about her parents coming back while she's gone. Lee can tell her that they'll find them. Lee takes a remote control from the desk draw.
- Lee picks up a photo of him, his parents and his brother. He tears himself out the photo and keep the part with his family. (Clementine picks up the picture of Lee of the floor and keeps it). Carley enters and calmly exclaims that she knows who Lee Everett is. He's a history professor who killed a state senator he caught sleeping with his wife. This is his parents store and she paid attention to that story. Carley doesn't think Lee is a bad guy but wants him to keep his identity to himself for his sake. After Carley leaves, Clem is confused. Lee explains that the man was bad.
- Glenn calls in over the walkie-talkie and explains that he's stuck at the motor inn. Lee takes Carley down to the motel. They arrive at the motel and Glenn climbs out an icebox to them. He explains that there's a survivor trapped here and he tried to help her when the dead arrived. Carley is against saving the girl but goes along with it. They stealthily kill three zombies and Lee acquires an awl and a fire axe.
- They reach the survivor who has locked herself in a room. She refuses to come out but reluctantly complies when Lee starts to break down the door. Irene tells the group that she's been bitten and doesn't want to come back as a monster. She eyes up Carley's gun and asks if she could use it to end her life. Lee can either let her have it or refuse. If Lee refuses, Irene tries to grab it resulting in the balcony collapsing and her shooting herself anyway. The group sombrely returns to the Pharmacy.
