The Siberian Snowman photographs were sent to Igor Burtsev, one of the leading primatologists and cryptozoologists in Russia. The photographs were taken in Northern Buryatia (a constituent country of Russia) via trailcam. The animal is about 8.5 ft tall with dark brown fur and a lighter colored "beard" and what appears to be a braid in it's hair, presumably made out of bark, others theorize it's an open wound.Added to timeline:
