may 28, 1271 BC - Sasquatch Stone Head

Description:

Between about 1,500 BC and AD 500, Native people in the Columbia River valley created a number of stone heads. One head found shows an obvious bighorn sheep as shown on the right. A series of other heads show some sort of ape. According to the natives the head shows a sasquatch. The face shows a humanlike head with a flat nose, large mouth and beady eyes with lines possibly representing that it has a large brow ridge.
