The Fouke Monster, or the Beast Of Boggy Creek, is a specific name for a bigfoot that was seen between 1953 to 1974 in Fouke, Arkansas. It was first seen by a 14 year old boy. It was later by Bobby and Elizabeth Ford when it tried to get into their house on May 2nd 1971. During the encounters, the Fords fired several shots at the creature but failed to hit it. An extensive search of the area failed to locate the creature, but three-toed footprints were found close to the house, scratch marks on the porch, and some damage to a window and the house's siding. Many footprints have been found and the Fouke Monster's right foot has a missing toe. This became so popular, that 2 horror films were made on the incidents and 2 other films were made by separate companies. The Fouke Monster is now a "mascot" of the town and a museum and general store was made in 1972 called "Monster-Mart".Added to timeline:
