"This morning, the Archduke arrived in Sarajevo with his wife Sophie and met with Governor Oskar Potiorek.
At 10:10 AM, their time, one of the would-be assassins threw a bomb at the car of the Archduke, though luckily it bounced off the vehicle, sadly injuring some spectators though. He then went to the Town Hall to give a speech, where he expressed his happiness to see the joy and excitement of his subjects over the failure of the assassination.
At 10:45, the motorcade resumed with a new destination, as the gracious Archduke wished to visit those wounded in the bombing. There, from what reports are saying, appears to have been confusion about the routes and as the motorcade went down the wrong road the vehicle had to be stopped for corrections and there another assassin took shots at the Royal Couple, which all missed their mark besides one that grazed the Count Harrach.
The Archduke and his wife were then taken to the Barracks and then at 1:00 PM, after the route to the train station was carefully put under guard, were brought to the train station and brought temporarily to Miramare Castle in Trieste for the night.
