The Battle of Ypres was faught between the Germans the Canadians and some Africans.it was a big battle because the Germans had brought out a weapon that was gas. The Canadians stayed to fight it but the Africans retreated the Canadians urinated on there handkerchiefs and covered there faces with it to counter the gas.(Battles, Technology)
