Description:

In 1844 the British government declared a new protectorate over the Mosquito Kingdom. This is motivated by the state of anarchy in the Kingdom. It was also motivated by the impending American annexation of Texas and the British desire to build a canal through Central America before the United States did.

The regions of the Northernmost and southernmost Minsqutio Kingdom would remain disputed with Honduras and Nicaragua respectively.
