14th June 1915
In the summer of 1915, the middle brother, Miles Bennett went mad without warning and killed himself with a kitchen knife, in his room upstairs.
Less than a week later (19th) the shocked, confused and grieving Bennett family received word that their eldest son Luke had died in the trenches.
Devastated and heartbroken the Bennett family moved out with their youngest son, Jasper.
They moved to Kansas though Mr. Knott is not aware of this.
