sep 15, 1475 - Intaglio - Drypoint
Description:
This is another form of intaglio etching and it is done when an image is incised into a plate of a material such as copper using a sharp point such as a needle or a diamond point, materials such as zinc and acetate are also used as a plate, this technique was easier for lesser trained etchers who were more experienced drawers.
