Also known as the Berlin Conference. This Conference was called in to regulate European colonization and trade in Africa. Also brought the attention of Germany's new rising as an imperial power. The outcome of the conference was the General Act of the Berlin Conference. The Act is seen as the official declare of the scramble for Africa. In addition, the conference left the Powers to fight over Africa. It had left Africa with little or none self governance and self preservation
