Description:
The Conference was held to discuss France's relationship with the Moroccan government. The meeting between the different powers had taken place after the first Moroccan Crisis. At the end of the conference an act was passed and signed (Act of Algeciras 1906). It seemed like the power of France was limited . It reissued the independence of Morocco's Sultan and the economic equality of the powers. The significance of the Conference was that it foreshadowed the allies roles in WW1.
