Description:
A few years later, a group of unknown individuals working for the CIA capture Logan and bring him to a government genetic research facility called Weapon X. William Stryker, the CEO of Weapon X informs him that they mean no harm and only wish for Logan to be apart of their experiment. Logan gives in and takes part of their program when they tell him that they'll greatly enhance his mutant abilities if he participates. He is later submerged into a tank filled with water where they proceed to inject an indestructible metal known as Adamantium which coated his skeleton. He then undergoes another operation where they augment the strength of his skin cells to superhuman levels, making it nigh impossible for firearms to penetrate his skin. When the experiment is done, Stryker orders one of the lab scientists to erase Logan’s memory. Hearing this, Logan realizes that the whole experiment was to turn him into a mindless killing machine and bursts out of the tank, freeing himself from his restraints and escaping the facility only to be tracked down later and shot unconscious, losing his memory.
