206 NTXenon attacks are not so rare anymore. Somewhere, it is supposed, the Xenon are preparing for war.
Nyana Gunne finds logs of her ancestor in which he pleads to destroy the gate to Earth, as not to give away human technology to the Terraformer/Xenon that could betray the secret of the jumpgates and endanger Earth.
Her previous words notwithstanding, Nyana becomes increasingly open to the message of the Foundation, and for next two years she and Sandas would begin a relationship and fall in love.
