Description:
The verbs ‘to dight’ was used frequently in connection with the preparation of wool, linen, leather, etc. and ‘undight’ was a reference to articles that had not been fully processed. 1527 <i>my undight lyne</i>, Whitkirk (Th9/247); 1533 <i>in lether dight and undight</i>, Pannal?( SS104/30).
