The will of Grace Marshall of South Cave is remarkable for she made bequests of several bee skeps, e.g. 1586 <i>unto Thomas Marshall one bee skepp</i> and <i>unto Maude Johnson my daughter & Peter Johnson her sonne the rest of my bees</i> (Kaner134).Added to timeline:
