mar 24, 1933 - Enabling Act

Description:

The Enabling Act was passed partly because the SA and SS intimidated opponents outside and because communism had been banned in the Reichstag.

It allowed:
- Hitler to propose new laws
- Hitler's Cabinet to pass these laws
- the laws to overrule the Weimar Constitution

The Act marked the end of the Weimar Constitution.
