Taylor starts getting asked out by a surprising number of the guys and even some of the girls to homecoming. She complains about it at lunch, saying it's weird and she's wondering if it's some kind of joke or if any of them put a few people up to it because this hasn't happened before. Karlie and Cara are torn between being jealous everyone is asking their crush our and confusion over how this is a new experience for her. Not knowing Taylor's past, the mentally file her as even more innocent if she didn't even realize so many people must have been flirting with her or asking her out. After all, she still hasn't caught on the number of guys that hold the door for her or help her with her books if she has her hands full isn't because this is the south - it's that they are trying to score points with Taylor.

Lily finds out Taylor failed her calc test after having already told her she was worried about and just scraping by with a B, because she spent time with Karlie and Cara over studying. She faces Lily's wrath and gets whacked with a dish towel instead smacked.

When Karlie and Cara come over to get Taylor to work on something for Chem, Lily confronts them on if they knew Taylor had a calc test and pressured her to blow it off. Taylor turns bright red that her crushes are going to know she fucked up and are hearing her being dressed down for it, but Karlie and Cara don't think anything of it because it happens all the time to them - it's just it's happening to seemingly goody goody Taylor that throws them. They convince Lily they didn't and would have hung out with her while she studied if they did. Lily tells them to make sure Taylor is aware of that and sets up some at least once a week study group thing for them as part of Taylor's punishment until Taylor's next calc text.
