On October 24th, 1942, the United Nations was created by the major allied powers such as the US, Britain, China, and the USSR that vowed to continue to fight the allied powers together until they were all defeated and to keep peace and prosperity throughout the world after war. This organization became the new League of Nations and became much more effective throughout the years to come in achieving peace and was serving the purpose of a post war safety net.Added to timeline:
