Description:

After months of hostilities between the US and the Axis powers of WW2, the Japanese imperial army decided to take the attack to the homefront of the US. On December 7th, 1941 the Japanese army launched a surprise attack on the US naval base in Honolulu, Hawaii and destroyed some 20 naval vessels, 300 airplanes and killed over 2,400 american soldier and civilians. This devastating surprise attack would launch the US into the war and FDR asking for Congress to declare war on Japan.
