Description:
As Malcolm X's career as a political activist got more serious he wanted to meet and listen to other civil rights activist but Elijah Muhammad didn't want him to. This power imbalance limited what Malcolm X did and he started to not fit with the strict boundaries. He also wasn't fitting the strict religious rules as well as before. He felt that the Nation of Islam had "gone as far as it can" He planned to create his own organization called Muslim Mosque Inc. and wanted to focus on getting mor african americans to vote.
