apr 15, 1967 - War protest in Central Park

Description:

Large-scale anti-war protests took place around the country, including New York, San Francisco, and many other major cities. In New York the protest took place in Central Park, over 150 people burned their draft cards, and the event ended with speeches from MLK and overs. More than 125,000 people came to listen and be inspired. This is important because it was one where black and whites came together.
