Description:
After fulfilling four terms in office, President FDR passed away. This left Vice President Truman in charge. This was a very critical time during WWll and left Truman with very large shoes to fill. On top of it all FDR had left Truman in the dark so Truman had very little idea of what was going on and what his responsibilities were. The biggest thing he was left to do was to decide whether or not to drop the atomic bomb.Added to timeline:
