Description:
The Civilian Conservation Corps was created by executive order on April 5th, 1933. This organization created millions of jobs. it was onne of the most important New Deal programs because it helped create the foundation for national and state parks. Over 300 billion trees were planted by the CCC. Although it is no longer in existence, it's goals were absorbed by the US Forest Service.Added to timeline:
