apr 12, 1945 - FDR Dies/ Truman President

Description:

FDR died on April 12, 1945 as a result of his continually declining health over the years. His death was somewhat of a shock to the public as many of his physical struggles were kept secret from the general public. Later that day even, Truman was inaugurated as President and began his service as the 33rd President that would last until January of 1953. He was the president at the end of WWII and would enstate many of the post war organizations and efforts that had been thought of by FDR.
