Malcolm X was assassinated on February 21, 1965, in New York City. Throughout his life, he was a minister, spent his time activating for civil rights, and was the leader of Nation of Islam during the 1950s and 1960s. Malcolm activated for self-defense and liberation of African Americans. Malcolm was shot and killed by Thomas Hagan. Sadly, he died at 38.Added to timeline:
