The Oakland Community School is opened to serve children of the Panthers, most of which live in poor areas of Oakland. The school quickly reaches its capacity of 150 kids. The Community School was a prime example of the Panther’s desire to create change by focusing on the youth and creating a better generation for them.Added to timeline:
