feb 19, 1942 - Executive Order 9066
Description:
The Executive Order 9066 was put in place to give authority to the Secretary of War and the United States Armed Forces to declare certain areas that they wanted as military areas and could control who could be included or excluded in the spot. It did not give any specification for races and ethnicities that could or could not be in the area. However it was the main cause of Japanese internment camps and enclosing Japanese people in certain spots.
