Description:

The United Nations was a group of international bodies formed with the hopes of starting productive conversations between countries with the hopes of keeping them out of any more major world wars. It was very similar to the previous League of Nations, however it tended to have more realistic ideals on how to truly keep peace throughout the world. There were five major powers of the united nations and those countries were the US, Britain, China, France, and the USSR. This helped the world come together and gave these five main powers the power to veto and help keep peace.
