Description:

The Three Mile Island was a site of a nuclear test that went terribly wrong. In fact is known as the worst nuclear disaster on US soil but it was due to the own faults of the testers. On top of the human failure aspect of the disaster there was also significant technological and mechanical issues with the test. The test ended up making radiation spread for over a sixteen mile radius which affected many civilians. It was noticeably significant because it affected many people by having their perception of american nuclear weapons turn bad.
