Who: The United states of America and The Japanese EmpireWhat: The Pearl Harbor attacks were coordinated surprise attacks on US military base in Pearl Harbor. The Japanese started the attack at about 8 am with over 350 fighter and dive bombers. All eight US Navy Battleships were sunk. Over 2,400 Americans died and over 1,200 were wounded. Since it was a surprise attack the Japanese death toll was very low.
When: This attack occurred the 7th of December 1941.
How: The element of surprise.
Why: To show their dominance in the south Pacific and in Asia.
