mar 16, 1939 - Britain rearms and reassures Poland March - April 1939
Description:
After Hitler had taken Czchecoslovakia, it was clear that not even a treaty would stop him from taking over land that he wanted. In March and April of 1939, Britain began rearming and had installed a highly secret warning system along the east coast. Poland was to be Hitler's next prized possession. This is an important event because we start seeing bigger countries coming to the aid of smaller ones. This alarmed Germany who was now desperately looking for countries to ally with.
