In a distant corner of the universe, the Lumineon Empire waged wars for eons, fueled by their fervent devotion to the god Xoth-Nyarl. Expanding its dominion over the land, the Empire's influence reached the fringes of its territory: a small tribe called The Solacians. These beings were known for their iridescent skin, which shimmered with the colors of the cosmos, and their innate ability to communicate telepathically. They lived in harmony with the planet's lush flora and diverse fauna, cultivating a society based on respect, wisdom, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Among these peaceful people, a young man named Lucio was next in line to lead the tribe. Under the guidance of his wise elder, Kalasis, Lucio and his tribe began to question the validity of the god they worshipped and its true intentions. This philosophical shift set the stage for a transformation that would change the course of Solacian history.
Before assuming command, Lucio would partake in a sacred ceremony alongside the current Chief. They would be bound together in a cocoon woven from the luminous fibers of Solacia's sacred Heartree. A new second-in-command would be chosen, entrusted with the tribe's staff, a relic crafted by the first Solacian ever born. The staff would be driven into the heart of the Chief and the abdomen of Lucio. As they lay entwined in the cocoon, the Chief's wisdom and knowledge would flow into Lucio like a river of stars. Once the transfer was complete, Lucio would emerge, reborn as the tribe's new leader, and be presented the staff by his new disciple.
However, during this moment of vulnerability, the ceremony was ambushed by Krythos, later known as Pappy, and his fierce warriors. Driven by their loyalty to Xoth-Nyarl, they sought to conquer the Solacians and claim their land in the name of their god. The peaceful Solacians were no match for the brutality of Krythos and his tribe.
To officially conquer another tribe, one must seize their staff. Krythos killed the Chief and left Lucio for dead, inadvertently receiving the Chief's knowledge instead of Lucio. In an instant, Krythos' mind was flooded with revelations, exposing the true nature of the god he had fought for: Xoth-Nyarl was a malevolent entity, thriving on chaos and destruction.
Overwhelmed by sadness and a sense of betrayal, Krythos could no longer bring himself to fight. He renounced his allegiance to Xoth-Nyarl, vowing to never follow its path again. Instead, he sought to make amends for his past transgressions and usher in an age of peace, forging an alliance with the Solacians. Swearing an oath of silence and adopting the name Pappy, he became a symbol of redemption and hope for a brighter future, not only for his people but for the entire universe.
