The Liberator was an abolitionist newspaper that was published by William Lloyd Garrison. Weekly issues of the newspaper were published until 1865. It often featured articles that discussed abolition and attempted to appeal to the moral conscience of the American public in an attempt to persuade people that slavery was immoral.
