The Seneca Falls Convention was the first women's rights convention. Women gathered in Seneca Falls, NY to discuss the social, civil, and religious conditions and rights of women. At this convention, Elizabeth Cady Stanton presented the Declaration of Sentiments, a document modelled on the Declaration of Independence which outlined all of the rights that women deserved.
