During President Johnson's term, the Vietnam War was an important event that impacted history and the future of our relationship with other countries. Most of the Vietnam War is considered a "lie" because there was evidence that Johnson was dishonest about the events with a shooting. During the war there was difficult jungle terrain that made it very difficult for the US soldiers, and there was many US deaths and casualties because of this. Today, many Americans view the war as an unnecessary war that created more harm than help.
