1) Kim Jong-un - Ruler of North Korea beginning in 2016. Kim Jong-un continued the nuclear weapons program started by his grandfather, Kim il-Sung, and has grown the program
2) Barack Obama - President of the United States of America from 2008-2016. President Obama dealt with North Korea primarily by "strategic patience" - waiting it out and seeing what comes of the isolated country.
3) American citizens - American citizens are affected if North Korea is successful in any way. They are stressed about the current situation and some will be killed if North Korea successfully bombs the United States.
