The stakeholders for this event are Canadian citizens, American citizens, border patrol, the government, and travelers in general. Canadian citizens fear for their security if they have intentions of crossing to the U.S.. American citizens have to worry about both the Canadian border and the Mexican border having issues with electronic devices. Border patrol, on either border, may either see this as misrepresentation of border patrol officers, or see this as a justified seizure. Travelers in general also worry for their safety when travelling outside the United States and travelling to the United States.
