Description:

May 1st Soviet detects an American spy plane flying over their territory. Soviet shoots down the plane and US knows they had to make an agreement with Soviet. Soviet suggests to stop building so many nuclear bombs and US thinks that sounds good unless they want to be able to spy over Soviet. Soviet only wanted the US to stop flying over their country and a formal apology, that the American president refused to give. Therefore Soviet forgot about the Paris Summit a kept building more nuclear weapons and this created even more mistrust between the countries.
