Description:
Book burning - May 10, 1933
After eliminating jews from schools they also wanted to align German arts and culture with Nazi ideas. Therefore university students burn upwards to 25,000 “un-german” books in Berlin Opera Square. The Nazis had more and more control and people supported them, partly because they were taught in schools and media to believe in Hitler, this contributes to Hitler getting more and more power.
