Description:

This act was created by FDR and was one of the most important and expensive New Deal programs. The Social Security Act was created to provide security for unemployed workers and the elderly through social insurance. When the Act was passed it was beneficial for victims of industrial accidents, disabled people and elderly by a national pension found.
