When the English first settled in the Virginia Bay, they were settling on the territory of a large Native American Empire. At first, the Natives helped support them, but when both Natives and the English were running short on food, their relations grew sour. When the English started to try and take more land, that was the last straw. The Natives went to war against them, and they ended up signing a peace treaty in 1614.Added to timeline:
