Description:
Thomas Malthus's contributed to the theory of Evolution by stating that the human race would be likely to overproduce if the population size was not kept under control. He also discussed ways to prevent the population from outgrowing its resources. There were two types of checks, preventive checks and positive checks. Preventive checks include the moral restraint of postponing marriage, and positive checks include famine, disease and warfare.
