Description:

It was a compromise between Pro-slavery and Non- slavery people that stated that the northern parts of the Louisiana territory would be free states except Missouri. This led to the Civil War because the South wasn't happy that most of the territory is free and the North wasn't happy because Missouri became a slave state.
