jan 1, 1926 - Erwin Schrödinger created an equation describing the electron.
He used calculations and results to come up with a mathematical equation to describe the behavior of the electron in a hydrogen atom. His equation was very helpful and important and produced something that is still used today. This was the quantum mechanical model which is the modern description or the electrons in an atom and it came from the solutions to his equation. This model is essential in determining the amount of energy an electron can have and is very important.
