feb 1, 520 BC - Laws
Description:
Don't get excited! No standardized laws.
Darius didn't replace regional law systems, nor did he establish a single law system for his entire Empire because, logically, it's huge and laws should vary according to setting.
He did, however, start encouraging law people to study the principles of the Empire as a whole and keep their law systems as following these principles. He got them to write down all their laws and send them to him and then he reviewed them and told them what they should review or consider adding, and generally just tried to put everyone in a similar mindset.
