Description:
The French, sensing the UK was going to send ships and troops to Portugal, in order to aid their ally from defeat, they set up a blockade. In order to block the British, the French set up the blockades in the English channel and arounds the coasts of Ireland, so that, no British ship could send troops or ships to aid Portugal in attacking Spain.
